A clear and calm country – The Big Picture on Wednesday

> From the WeatherWatch archives

The large, slow moving high pressure system which has dominated most of the country to start the week isn’t going anywhere fast – with further settled, clear weather for much of the country in our midweek.

The high pressure covers most of New Zealand, though a frontal system which hangs over Southland may bring some rain during the day.
It’s looking mostly sunny and clear otherwise for much of New Zealand – with light winds to boot.
