A building front brings heavy rain – Thursday’s Weather Video

> From the WeatherWatch archives

A frontal system working its way up the west of New Zealand is set to dominate weather for much of the country heading into the weekend, with a subtropical system preceding a southwesterly airflow.

Heading into Friday, heavy downpours are on the way for isolated areas on the West Coast of the South Island, while further north it looks like more rain for those areas hit by flooding two weeks ago…but hopefully no repeat of the severe flooding.
