Much of the country today should see plenty of sunshine however the west and far south of the mainland is likely to see some cloud with some rain or showers at times with cool west to sou’ west winds.
Temperatures have certainly dropped more than a degree or 2 in the last week, thanks mainly to the front and cool southerly that moved up the country within the last 48 hours.
The nights are where it’s most noticeable but even during the day, the wind has a definite chill in the air suggesting that we are certainly on a journey towards the coldest months of the year.
Tomorrow should see more cloud and showers move into western regions as the next front approaches but warm temperatures are likely in some northern and eastern areas along with sunshine and north to northwesterly winds.
Monday should see another front advance over the country with showers moving into eastern districts and temperatures falling once more.
