Peak winds are today across New Zealand along with peak cold but the next several days ahead aren’t going to be back to sunny and calm for everyone either.
While some regions will have plenty of dry and sunny weather over the next week that will be mainly due to the blocking nature of the ranges and mountains because we have further strong westerlies on the way.
Another low will impact parts of the South Island this weekend too.
