The weekend forecast looks unsettled for many, but not all. A period of rain will tonight and Saturday morning cross the country, followed by a brief wet southerly for many in the south and east.

Warm northerlies in the North Island at the moment will give way to cooler sou’westers by Sunday. In fact Hawke’s Bay may drop as much as 8 to 10 degrees from now until Sunday.

However next week warms up – ahead of a sizeable low that may bring a cold change later next week. #Spring!
