Your readings – How hot is it where you are?

> From the WeatherWatch archives

We all know the “official” temperatures can be a little cooler than what many of us feel at home or work.

With extreme heat now hitting many parts of the country we want to know what your temperature gauge says.

Post your readings throughout today – and don’t forget to tell us where you are!

31 degrees about 1030am. Up to 39 degrees by about 1530-1600. Calibrated and traceable back to national standards. 10 – 15 different instruments all read the same thing throughout the day!

calibrated instruments would not read that high in Taranaki today unless they were in the sunshine of course. those are completely non-believable readings.

some official Taranaki readings:
New Plymouth max 24
Wanganui max 26
