Your Main Centre outlook on Monday – Sun and showers

> From the WeatherWatch archives

The new (short) week kicks off with a mix of sun, cloud, and showers around New Zealand – with most of the weather coming from the south to start the week – a good autumn pattern!

Main Centres

Auckland

Sunny to start, with westerlies blowing gently through the city – before a southerly change brings the chance of a shower – but not before temperatures get up once again into the mid 20s.

Wellington

Sunny to start in the capital too, with a southerly change bringing the chance of a shower, after a high in the late teens – possibly creeping into the 20s.

Christchurch

Cloudy, drizzly and cool – with southerlies bringing drizzle and some light rain to the city, while temperatures may struggle to get into the late teens.
