Your Big Day Out forecast

> From the WeatherWatch archives

The Big Day Out is back and WeatherWatch.co.nz has looked into the forecast for the big Auckland event.

Weather conditions for today start off OK but are expected to slide downhill by night time.

The latest forecast shows a mostly dry day but clouds building up. There’s a slight risk of a brief light shower during the day.  At night time the chance of rain goes from 10% to 50% as a weak, warm, front approaches from the north east.

However WeatherWatch.co.nz says that at this time of the year drier conditions often prevail.  Last year showers were predicted but failed to arrive.  This year’s set up is very similar.

WeatherWatch.co.nz says it will be warm with humidity increasing.  The predicted high is 25 degrees with a brisk south east wind.

Humidity is expected to rise at night when it could lift over 90%.
