UPDATED EASTER MONDAY 11AM

As holidaymakers head home the weather is shaping up nicely around the country and should pose very few problems if any.

Roads: Mostly dry across the entire country with just a shower possible about Gisborne and also Fiordland later today.
Good visibility expected but sunstrike could be an issue later today under clear skies.

Ferries: Conditions remain very favourable today across the Strait with pleasant conditions expected.

Air: Settled skies across New Zealand shouldn’t deliver any problems throughout the day with generally light winds aloft which should make for a smooth journey.

Brief outlook for the first week of the school holidays and conditions may cut up rough midweek as a sysytem moves in from the Tasman Sea however a relatively quick clearance is expected by Thursday and into Friday for the North island but earlier across much of the Mainland.
