The Big Bird has arrived!  The skies around Auckland are mainly clear despite a few small isolated showers for the huge Qantas A380 – the world’s largest passenger jet.

This photo (above), taken this morning by Air NZ aircraft engineer Andrew Duncan, shows the huge size of the jet compared to the people on the ground.
