Windy but warm for Wellington Sevens

> From the WeatherWatch archives

The NZI Sevens is back in Wellington this Friday and Saturday and WeatherWatch.co.nz predicts the current “spring like” weather pattern will be the main driving force for the weather during the event.

The forecast at this stage is for cloudy weather with a 30% risk of a light shower on Friday and the strong winds easing back.  However by Sunday the risk of rain is lower but the chance of strong to gale northerlies increases.

Strong winds from the north will build as Saturday continues.

It’s going to be warm though – with temperatures climbing to around 23 degrees both days and only dropping to the low to mid teens at night.
