The weather pattern across New Zealand is going to be fairly spring like today with gusty winds continuing in many areas.
The wind and mild temperatures means the nation will be frost free too as a number of fronts move up the country.
Winds will turn more sou’west for many places as the day wears on.
A large high will move in over the South Island in the next couple of days bringing settled and frosty weather again to many areas.
However a developing low in the Tasman is likely to bring strong easterlies and possibly heavy rain later in the week to the north. WeatherWatch.co.nz will be closely monitoring its development.
