Which Auckland beaches are safe to swim in?

Heavy rain around Auckland can sometimes cause sewage problems at our favourite beaches.

With sea temperatures now at their warmest – and still several potential swimming weeks left – it’s important that you and your family check the latest water data from Auckland Council before heading to the beach – at least, if it’s been heavily raining.

Click on this link and save it to your Favourites.  If there’s been heavy rain in the region it’s worth checking, otherwise wait for at least 48 hours before swimming after heavy rain has fallen across the region just to be safe.
