What’s happening where you are?

> From the WeatherWatch archives

A band of showers continues to push slowly across New Zealand early this morning.  There is a chance for some heavier falls with this band.  Also some thunderstorms are possible as well as gusty winds.

So how are things going by you?

was sunny in Palmerton north most of today but has clouded over in the last half an hour with a slight north west breeze 🙂

Rain was heavy and visibility was low at times in Auckland. Saw an interesting site in Blue Sky on one half of West Auckland and dark heavy clouds with heavy showers pouring down on the other side.

I added some pics and a video of the sudden change from rainstorm to blue sky, on the WW Facebook page, for those interested.

Just had a tremendous downpour 10ml in 20 minutes. All blue sky and high cirrus cloud now. Looks like the rain is over for us.

Nothing much a drenching here in Auckland CBD.

Windy as well.

A bit of heavy rain overnight but is now clearing. Looks like the sun will be doing it’s usual thing here by later in the morning.
