Wet, cold, weather adds to Christchurch’s weather woes

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Cold, wet, weather continues to affect Christchurch overnight local time reports WeatherWatch.co.nz.

Tonight’s low is predicted to be around 10 degrees celcius with the current temperature at 12 degrees and very slowly falling.

The latest NZ government rain radar shows bands of rain in the area, but it does show signs of easing overnight.

WeatherWatch.co.nz says the forecast for Wednesday NZT is for the current showers to clear in the morning with a high of 18 degrees and sunnier weather.

Dry weather is also predicted for Thursday but more rain and cool southerlies are expected on Friday before more dry weather arrives on Saturday.

There are now severe weather forecasts for the city or the Canterbury region.
