Wellington to stay mostly dry for test this evening

The main focus around the country this evening will be the All Blacks test tonight in Wellington. Weather wise it’s looking fairly good, no wet weather to speak of although a few brief spits could move over but the majority will be after the game has well finished. The only real issue of note will be a northerly breeze averaging 20 to 25 kph. So with the shape of the cake tin it should create a swirling breeze inside the stadium.

Temperatures will average about 12 degrees and skies will be clouding over so a jersey will be a must for spectators.

Christchurch and Auckland can expect a mainly dry evening too, expect plenty of high cloud for Christchurch and areas of cloud will start to increase for Auckland with northerly winds.

The North Island, particularly the upper half will be in for some rain tomorrow so a good day to look forward to some indoor activities.
