Weekend Weather Video – Stormy weekend for some

> From the WeatherWatch archives

A rapidly deepening low is heading towards the upper North Island on Saturday bringing more rain and wind…and it will continue to deepen as it crosses the country, then clears away to the east on Sunday.

On Sunday a cold blast will sweep northwards, bring snow – possibly heavy – the lower South Island and colder Antarctic air will spread across much of New Zealand later on Sunday and in Monday.
