A high pressure system covers the entire country except parts of the upper North Island – bringing light winds to pretty much everyone along with a mix of sun and cloud.

Most places should stay largely dry, and temperatures will be higher in the South Island for almost everyone.

Main Centres

Auckland

Stays largely dry in Auckland, while light showers may linger here and there – along with breezy easterlies – and a high in the mid 20s.

Wellington

A mix of sun and cloud, along with light southeasterlies and temperatures in the early 20s.

Christchurch

Cloud breaks to fine spells and light winds, along with temperatures in the late teens or early 20s.
