An anticyclone still covers the country today bringing mainly settled weather, while some places will see sun others will have fog and areas of cloud. Winds will be light for most.

Northland, Auckland
High cloud with sunny spells breaking through in the afternoon, light winds tending southerly or southwest.
Highs: 19-20

Waikato, CNI & BOP
Mostly sunny with light winds tending southerly or southwest, expect some high cloud. There may also be some morning fog then clearing.
Highs: 18-21

Eastern North Island
Cloudy periods with a few sunny spells, light southerly breezes for a time.
Highs: 18-19

Western North Island
Sunny with a few clouds after any morning fog clears, light winds.
Highs: 18-19

Wellington
Mostly sunny with light winds and a few clouds after any morning fog clears.
High: 17

Marlborough & Nelson
Sunny with light winds.
Highs: 17-18

Canterbury
Sunny periods and some cloud after morning fog clears, light morning southerlies tend northeast in the afternoon.
Highs: 15-16

West Coast
Chance of an early shower otherwise expect a mix of sunny and cloudy spells, light winds.
Highs: 16-17

Southland & Otago
A period of morning showers clear then expect sunny spells to develop in the afternoon more so inland, some cloud hangs about for coastal areas. Southwesterlies die out.
Highs: 13-15
