An anticyclone covers New Zealand today bringing mostly settled weather. Some cloud possible morning and night in a few areas. Fiordland looks to be one of the only damp areas with drizzle there at times and northerly breezes.

Northland, Auckland, Waikato, CNI & BOP
Mostly sunny with light winds, afternoon sea breezes for coastal areas. A few harmless clouds about mainly in the afternoon and for a time in the evening.
Highs: 23-25

Western and Eastern North Island
Mostly sunny after any morning cloud clears, light winds and afternoon sea breezes.
Highs: 22-24
 
Wellington
Sunny with a few clouds, northerly breezes.
Highs: 20-22
 
Nelson
Mostly sunny after any morning cloud clears, light northerlies.
Highs: 23-24
 
Canterbury & Marlborough
Mostly sunny skies after morning cloud clears. Light southerlies in the morning tending easterly in the afternoon in Canterbury. Northerlies for Marlborough.
Highs: 23-26, warmest temperatures in Marlborough
 
West Coast
Mostly sunny after some morning cloud clears, light west to northwest winds. Cloudy in Fiordland however with drizzle patches.

Southland & Otago
Sunny skies with light winds, light northeasterlies about the Otago coastline after midday.
Highs: 18-23
