Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
A mix of sun and cloud, there may be the odd isolated shower late afternoon / evening then clearing away at night. Showers hang about northern Northland however. Light winds then afternoon sea breezes.
Highs: 20-23

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Sunny areas and some high cloud, light winds.
Highs: 18-23

Eastern North Island

A mix of sun and cloud, chance of an isolated shower late afternoon / evening mainly inland about the ranges. Light winds tend easterly in the afternoon.
Highs: 18-22

Wellington

A mix of sun and cloud, light southeasterly winds.
High: 18

Marlborough & Nelson

Any morning cloud clears then mostly sunny, light winds tend onshore in the afternoon.
Highs: 18-21

Canterbury

Mostly sunny after any morning cloud clears, east to northeasterly winds.
Highs: 15-18

West Coast

A mainly sunny day with a touch of high cloud possible, light winds tend onshore in the afternoon.
Highs: 18-21

Southland & Otago
Mostly sunny, some morning cloud possible for coastal Otago. A touch of morning mist or fog possible for inland areas. Light winds tend onshore in the afternoon.
Highs: 18-20
