Mostly sunny with south to southeasterly winds, some cloud in the east towards the ranges.
Highs: 10-17

Eastern North Island
Mostly cloudy with showers, clearing away from Wairarapa in the afternoon but remaining further north. Fresh southerly winds, gradually easing from the south.
Highs: 13-15

Wellington
Morning cloud then mostly sunny, southerly winds.
High: 15

Marlborough & Nelson
Sunny, light afternoon north to northeasterly winds.
Highs: 16-17

Canterbury
Sunny with afternoon east to northeast winds.
Highs: 16-17

West Coast
Mostly sunny, light winds tend west to southwest in the afternoon.
