Wednesday’s national forecast

> From the WeatherWatch archives

A big high pressure ridge moving over the country will keep most areas dry and settled today.

However, parts of the southern and eastern sections of the North Island may find things a bit wet today.  The circulation around the incoming high will keep a southerly flow going for Gisborne and Hawkes Bay.  That could translate into some spotty showers.

There is also a small chance for a few hit and miss showers about Wellington and Wairarapa.

For the rest of the country, expect a mix of sun and clouds today.  Daytime highs will generally be in the middle to the upper teens.
