The Autumn weather pattern is becoming more energetic with colder weather today for some regions, followed by another cold front this Friday and Saturday.

Thursday will be briefly milder for many as northerlies and westerlies move in ahead of the cold front.

High pressure is centred on the western side of New Zealand out towards Tasmania – which is classic El Niño.

A few showers and drizzle patches are here and there.
