WeatherWatch.co.nz continues extensive cyclone coverage

WeatherWatch.co.nz will continue to bring you the latest on the main tropical cyclones from around the South Pacific and Australasia as we head into the peak of the 2012 cyclone season.

Our coverage consists of drawing together the government resources from Australia’s Bureau of Meteorology, the Fiji Meteorological Service and the Joint Typhoon Warning Centre.

Unlike the Americas the South West Pacific doesn’t have one tropical storm centre – we have three.  This can make it quite confusing for those travelling to the tropics for a holiday and the everyday public who may simply be interested in the latest cyclone tracking.

WeatherWatch.co.nz aims to pull those resources together so that those wanting the latest information can find it here – and through our nzherald.co.nz weather videos, which exclusively monitor these storms.
