Weather Video: Your weekend + September 1st forecast

> From the WeatherWatch archives

The weekend sees more dry weather lingering with still plenty of sunny spells – but the high is slipping away to our east.

By the end of Sunday a brisk northerly quarter flow will cross the country with rain on the West Coast setting in further and rain spreading south over the North Island – perhaps not reaching many until Monday.

The start of next week sees some rain around both islands from a couple of lows.

We also take a quick look one week from now at the start of September – a heads up: It looks a bit messy.
