Our nzherald.co.nz weather videos are back after a two week break – and the weather around New Zealand is actually fairly quiet despite it being mid-spring!

Snow fell in Australia this week, tropical storms in Bermuda & India – but the weather here in New Zealand isn’t extreme at all.

The weekend ahead sees some rain hanging around northern New Zealand and a few showers around the South Island. Conditions dry out further on Sunday – then clears most of the North Island by Monday.

The South Island has a calm, mild, weekend for the most part.
