The first effects of the partial sub tropical system that’s been looming for the last few days are now being felt – but it won’t be too dramatic.

There are two airflows combining over northern New Zealand, creating much of the cloud cover for the upper north, and could bring some heavy downpours across this afternoon (Saturday).  Heavy downpours are also expected for Saturday morning right across Bay of Plenty.
