Weather Video: Yes more rain is coming but we also track two big highs

> From the WeatherWatch archives

The unsettled spring pattern continues with high pressure moving in across New Zealand for Thursday and the very start of Friday – ahead of the next weak front and low with showers.

By Saturday there are showers across the country but dry and sunny spells too, especially later. Into Sunday and things go back downhill again. More rain and colder, windier, conditions move in.

On Monday it only gets wetter and windier for some – and colder.

However, by Tuesday next week high pressure builds.

While we might still have showers and a burst of wind mid to late next week for some regions, the general trend is to become drier than wetter with a very large high from Australia possibly coming in just over a week from now – we take a long range look at next weekend as well this weekend.
