Weather Video: Wet nor’easter to return

> From the WeatherWatch archives

The cold blast is running out of steam and by Sunday it should be mostly over as a high pressure system rolls in.

The high is likely to bring in frosts and much lower overnight temperatures – but hopefully sunnier, drier, weather for many places too.

But by early next week another wet nor’easter may be forming.

A sub-tropical low looks likely to feed in wind and rain to northern NZ while a milder air flow from the sub-tropics and northern Tasman Sea will cover the country again.
