The westerly change arrives nationwide today although for some areas it may not have much oomph.
Over the rest of this week we see a few cold fronts moving in from the west, heaviest rain in the south around the West Coast.
By Friday and the weekend we have a large high crossing the country with more average temperatures and mainly dry conditions – some showers in the east.
But by Sunday we’re back to a developing nor’wester ahead of the next cold front arriving on Monday.
