Weather Video: Weekend weather

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Another low is heading towards Northland with a period of rain on Saturday PM.

Meanwhile further south colder air continues to blow in, with snow expected on the North Island ski fields and on the ranges of both islands.

However high pressure will build over the South Island and western parts of New Zealand early next week for a few days ahead of the next system – likely to drive back in northerlies.
