We have some wet, windy and cold weather affecting eastern parts of the South Island and soon lower and eastern parts of the North Island.
Meanwhile heavy showers – some with hail and thunder but mixed in with sunny spells – are dotting the upper and western North Island.
On Friday things calm down – and next week high pressure moves in.
With a lot of negative coverage this week it’s nice to be ending the week on a more positive note…

Beautiful, magnificent cumulus show all around us, with occasional showers in New Lynn.
The sunshine and clouds are a great sight, with gusty breezes and low humidity!
