Summer officially starts in New Zealand and Australia this Sunday and the weather here in NZ may well be cooler than the last day of spring on Saturday!
A strong to gale nor’west flow will push across the country on Saturday, then on Sunday winds swing around to the south west for many places with cooler air pushing in.
Don’t worry – the first week of summer still looks mostly sunny and warm – but the first few days look unsettled.
