We have an action packed video today with several additional maps as we cover the start of spring and in true spring style the weather is ‘all over the place’.

The weekend kicks of warm and sunny for most with temperatures above normal for most areas on Saturday.

By Sunday the showers and windy westerlies arrive and by the end of the weekend and start of next week we have a colder south to south east flow moving in.

So yes, snow returns to the ranges, frosts may return to some places next week – but by the end of next week high pressure looks set to dominate NZ with again mild winds behind it.
