Yep we’ll do that on Friday! Want to leave it until then to ensure it’s as accurate as possible.

Hi Phil, I agree with the deaf or hearing impaired suggestion. I am one of those & as a result cannot hear the video very well so a written bit would do heaps to help understand what you are saying.
Everything is tops with the site, best around for sure.

Just got a warning from MetService saying heavy rain will affect most of the BOP. I’ve been monitoring the lightning tracker for the past few hours and it looks like it might swing our way (as in Tauranga area). What do you think the chances are for some thunder in the Bay later?
(ever hopeful…)

.. also bear in mind those of us who are deaf or hearing-impaired :-/. It’s a LOT easier to READ your information, than to try & listen – although it helps to improve our lip-reading skills 😉

Hi Phil, it’s great that you’re posting video presentations on w.w., but for the benefit of we “lucky” few who are still on dial-up 🙁 could you maybe add a brief written summary along with it? – at least in the cases where it’s important information being presented.
Many thanks, vicki

Hi Vicki,
That’s a fair request – a couple people have also asked for the same so will try and bullet point the features when it’s big events like this – perhaps not so much for the "normal" weekly stuff.
Good luck with that dial up – we’ve tried to keep the homepage and our photos as small as possible to ensure the "lucky" ones on dial up can still view the majority of our content.
Cheers!
Phil
