The next few days – in fact the forecast until Sunday – is a “messy†one across New Zealand as a large but fairly weak area of low pressure tries to move in.
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday see showers here and there – but large area of dry.
As the low deepens a bit towards Friday and Saturday we may see large area of rain moving in to both islands. It’s a tricky one to lock in with high accuracy – so we’ve done our best to break down the next several days for you, up until Sunday.
On the meteorological calendar winter ends on Thursday, spring starts on Friday.
