Heavy rain is pushing into northern, western and central areas across Friday and Saturday morning but a clearance is coming – but it will be a colder change to sou’westers.
The sou’west flow will last the week with a colder southerly arriving on Wednesday.
A large high should roll in for Thursday and Friday possibly bringing severe frosts to the south and heavy frosts to the central North Island.
