WeatherWatch.co.nz head weather analyst Philip Duncan says a “huge high” will be anchored firmly over the nation and apart from a few clouds the weekend looks dry, mostly sunny and calm.
“The weather is looking stunning across the country this weekend. While we do expect a few cloudy areas, which we almost always do with large highs over New Zealand, the overall picture is that the country will be 99 to 100% dry with light winds and average temperatures”.
