Weather Video: Ash, then rain, then snow?

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Philip Duncan from WeatherWatch.co.nz provides an ash cloud update and describes a new front bringing heavy rain as well as the highs and lows around the country.

Ash:  Currently heading towards the North Island but we believe it won’t cause an issue for Air New Zealand flights.  In saying that, it’s not up to us to decide!  So please do check with your airline if flying in and out of the country over the next couple of days.

Rain:  Another rain band is coming…infact three!  For full details in text click here.

Snow: It’s a long way out but next week (Tuesday and Wednesday) there’s a likelihood of snow for Mt Ruapehu and the South Island mountains too.  Our confidence is moderate – but compared to winter so far that’s high for us!
