The weather forecast for this Sunday’s Grand Final between the Warriors and Manly looks set to favour the Warriors says WeatherWatch.co.nz head weather analyst Philip Duncan.
Mr Duncan says an offshore low this weekend will mean “Auckland-like” weather conditions for the big game.
“Sydney has recently been in a heatwave, with highs in the 30s and hot, windy, weather. This Sunday the weather will be more like New Zealand with a strong south easterly blowing, passing showers and a high of only around 17 or 18 degrees”.
Mr Duncan believes those conditions will favour the Warriors going into the Grand Final.
Meanwhile weather conditions for the rare daytime All Blacks game against Canada in Wellington on Sunday look equally as unsettled.
The capital is expected to have a blustery northerly and patches of rain or showers for the afternoon game.
