There’s a mixture of weather over the nation this afternoon.
The North is experiencing a lot of cloud cover and brisk nor’west to westerly winds. Temperatures range between the mid teens to low 20’s.
Showers have also started to make their presence known, with Auckland receiving a light dousing over the last couple of hours.
In the South Island things are looking fine from Christchurch through to Nelson, with Blenheim the warmest at 23 degrees.
Further south westerly winds and showers are keeping things cool with Invercargill on a chilly 8 degrees.
