It’s been a while since we updated our weather song list and over the decades many songs have had some weather term in the title plus in the verses and chorus lines.
It goes to show that weather plays a part in so many peoples lives and music has heightened the awareness of what role it can play.
Sometimes we associate music with certain times in our lives and there may be some hits with weather words could be linked to old summers or perhaps old flames!
We’d love your input and here’s a start with just the song titles but you might know other singles or albums with some form of weather descriptions as well. You don’t have to know the artist though as it’s the song that counts.
The first 10….
Raindrops keep falling on my head BJ Thomas
Tears in Heaven Eric Clapton
Weather with you Crowded House
Four seasons in one day Crowded House
Break in the weather Jenny Morris
White Christmas Bing Crosby
Rain Dragon
She’s like the wind Patrick Swayze
Ride like the wind Christopher Cross
Riders in the storm The Doors

How about Another day in paradise or I wish it would rain down by Phil Collins. I can feel it coming in the air tonight- perhaps he was he talking about a frost!
