> From the WeatherWatch archives

A FEW NICE DAYS ON THE WAY

The weather is fairly static today, tomorrow and Friday. A ridge of high pressure for the North Island brings fairly good weather overall, Taranaki and Kapiti could pick up a shower but overall not to bad. The east coast has nice sunny and warm weather.

The South Island has northerly winds with wet weather in the west and dry warm weather in the east.

A TOUCH OF FOG PERHAPS – NORTH ISLAND

A ridge of high pressure brings settled weather to the North Island for the next three days and this brings a fog risk in the mornings. Maps below.

WARM IN THE EAST

Eastern regions should experience warm temperatures for the next three days, getting into the late teens or perhaps early twenties. The upper North Island should see warm temperatures also.
