Weather: Auckland’s Christmas in the park

> From the WeatherWatch archives

New Zealand’s biggest Christmas carols evening in Auckland tonight should be a relatively dry affair with the last of the rain clouds hopefully moving through Auckland this afternoon.

WeatherWatch.co.nz’s independent Auckland forecasts call for a period of showers redeveloping this afternoon but should clear over the next few hours.

The cloud may still stick around and WeatherWatch.co.nz believes there is just a 20% chance of a shower this evening – however will be monitoring the Auckland rain radar closely.

The clouds should help keep temperatures up in the late teens this evening, however slightly cooler air will be moving in, so best to pack a warm jacket just in case.
