We need your photos!

> From the WeatherWatch archives

We’ve been taking a look through our fantastic photo galleries and we’re putting a request out for some new images!

We’re also working on setting up some competitions as we appreciate the time you put in to taking the photos and uploading them to WeatherWatch.co.nz.  Just give us a little more time on that one while we sort out something decent to offer!

In the meantime we’re really keen to get photos of the following…

  • Crescent moon
  • Rain clouds/wet days
  • Trees/plants/objects in motion from the wind
  • Spring flowers
  • Animals enjoying (or not enjoying!) the weather
  • Quirky weather photos…use your imagination!
  • Planes taking off, boats in harbours, cars on roads.

If you think you know what we’re looking for then send in your photos using this easy link.

The best images may also be displayed in Philip Duncan’s Weather Watch blog at NZHerald.co.nz (photographer’s name credited of course!)

Finally – tell us what you’d like as a prize for sending in weather photos.  While we appreciate many of you send them in because of your passion we’d like to recognise your skills with some upcoming competitions.  Post a public comment below or send in your suggestions privately using the Contact Us link at the top of page.

Regards

Was looking through the photos this morning and I did think to myself..mmm… wonder if I should approach weatherwatch about running some comps as some of those photos are A+. I love it when coincidences happen like this how bizarre! Prizes: Book vouchers, snapfish vouchers (online photo printing service), Photo printer, what about some gardening vouchers at the beginning of each season, Spring, Summer etc.
