Last week felt wintry for many areas – this week will be considerably warmer with highs in some eastern areas pushing into the early 20s, and even the high teens for the deep south (before a cooler southerly change arrives).
The warmer weather is due to a westerly quarter wind flow.
Rain moves up the country from Wednesday to Friday, from the west – and some rain or showers may even reach dry eastern areas by Friday or Saturday, for a brief time.
