> From the WeatherWatch archives

Tuesday is looking fine and clear for most of the country, as well as sending some temperatures upwards in both islands.

Much of the North Island will be sitting in the 20s, while the east of the South Island is looking warm again too – with temperatures in the mid 20s on the way.

Auckland

Warm with a mix of sunny areas and cloud cover through the day, while breezes blow from the eastern quarter – and temperatures get into the mid 20s.

Wellington

Sunny and fine for the most part again in the capital, along with breezy northwest winds and a high in the early to mid 20s.

Christchurch

A mix of sun and cloud in Christchurch, though temperatures stay high – getting into the mid 20s along with northeasterlies during the day.
