Warm for now, snow and rain on the way

> From the WeatherWatch archives

A warm weather pattern is in place for most places around the country, though there is snow on the way for parts of the South Island this week!

A cold snap is in the offing for Wednesday this week, with a south to southwest airflow sitting over the country, bringing snow down to about 300 or 400m across Tuesday night and into Wednesday, as well as hail down to sea level.

Thursday brings another change too – check out the detailed outlook for your region with Philip Duncan, below.
