Warm arvo for much of NZ

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Temperatures have climbed up a notch today and warm sunshine is on tap for much of the country this afternoon.
Whangarei, Hastings and Gisborne are sharing 26 this hour with both Christchurch and Blenheim on 25. The coolest is Milford Sound with just 13 degrees.

It’s not all roses with some cloud and moisture in a few western and southern areas  of the mainland which is expected to become more widespread over the next day or two.

Winds are expected to pick up as well from the northwest for much of the nation today, tomorrow and Wednesday followed by a cooler southerly in the far south.
